Facebook blocks the account of a son of Netanyahu by Islamophobic messages
«Do you know where there are no attacks? In Iceland and Japan where by chance there are no Muslims », wrote the son of the Prime Minister of Israel
Yair Netanyahu is at war against «the dictatorship of Facebook's thought». The oldest and best-known son of Israel's prime minister - he has two others, but away from public life - denounced via twitter that the social network of Mark Zuckerberg blocked his account for 24 hours by a series of messages about Muslims and Palestinians . «Facebook's harsh policy has found me. Congratulations! ", Yair wrote next to a screenshot in which he showed the notice informing him of the breach of the portal's regulations regarding communications.
In the messages censored by Facebook, Yair asked himself: "Do you know where there are no attacks? In Iceland and Japan where, by chance, there are no Muslims ", or he claimed that there were only two solutions to achieve peace:" Let all Jews leave or all Muslims leave ". Given this dilemma, he said that "I prefer the second option".
The blockade of Facebook provoked the anger of Netanyahu's son who denounced that this network leaves thousands of comments in which the destruction of the "State of Israel and the death of thousands of Jews" is requested. "There are also thousands of messages with death threats for me and my family that have not been withdrawn because they fall within the scope of freedom of expression," he added.
It is not the first time that Yair is involved in a controversy in social networks. In August, when he valued the march of ultras groups in Virginia, he wrote on his wall: "The Neo-Nazi scum hates me and my country, but they belong to the past." He cited his concern: "The antifascist and BLM thugs (in reference to the Black Lives Matter platform) who hate my country and also the United States and are becoming the dominant class in universities and the streets."
That same week, according to the newspaper 'Haaretz', the Israeli think tank Molad complained against him for his comments on Facebook to a profile that this strategic study center dedicated to him that had 1.25 million visits. Yair called them "radical anti-Zionists who work thanks to the funds of the Israel Destruction Fund and the EU."
The Netanyahu do not go through their best moment of popularity and Yair joins the criticism of a family in the spotlight of Justice for alleged corruption, fraud and abuse of power. The firstborn also made headlines this summer when a neighbor reported that he refused to pick up his dog's excrement and then gave him an obscene gesture with his middle finger.
